The UMC will host a Lunch & Learn on Naming & Framing Community Issues.

This session will be led by expert Erin L. Paseur Oeth, M.Ed.  During the session, participants will consider basic principles for naming and framing community issues to promote dialogue and deliberation.  Learn how to move conversation beyond the same old soundbites, avoid either-or dichotomies, and create space for common ground and shared action together.  Participants will explore deliberative framing and its applicability for facilitating community dialogue around local issues.  This event is FREE and open to the public!
