Community Mediation Training

Upstate Mediation Center is dependent on the involvement of volunteer mediators. Our community mediation services are provided at no-cost to our participants because we want this service to be accessible to everyone, regardless of income. Our entire community wins when we can reduce court involvement and support our neighbors in conflict resolution. To provide mediation free of charge and serve everyone in our area, we rely on volunteers.

As a volunteer mediator you will support people navigating through some of the most difficult times in their lives. You will be providing a private, nonjudgmental space where participants can speak openly and honestly about their situation and make a customized plan to meet everyone’s needs.
