What do you like about UMC’s work in the community, being a Board Member, and/or volunteering with UMC?

I love UMC’s commitment to peaceful conflict resolution!  I’m thankful that its available in my community and believe it makes a big difference for families.  I enjoy being a board member because the UMC Board and Staff are awesome, dedicated, and gifted people that really care about our community and are committed to making a difference.

Who inspires you?

My daughter and niece inspire me—they’re both new moms and they both work really hard to provide loving, nurturing homes for their little ones.

What is the last book you read?

None of This is True: A Novel by: Lisa Jewell

If you had to eat on meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Tacos, of course!

What is something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?

I live on the lake and love to kayak!
